Wednesday Meditations with Phil, 12pm Eastern

The Wednesday Meditations, once hosted by that Smithsonian’s National Museum of Asian Art, are now hosted by me. Join a community of practitioners from around the globe as I provide guided instruction until half past the hour.

Join Phil for an exploration of somatic meditation. Each Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday (Tuesday, & Thursday are silent practice, Sundays off), 6:30-7:10am EDT, we’ll work with various body-centric practices that help us encounter the meditating body — the part of us that continually offers pure, open, unconditional awareness.

Participants come when they can — some every morning, others a few times a week. Throughout the week we’ll delve into one core practice with variations, progressing over approximately eight weeks to a more complete practice of pure awareness.

Meditations at the Smithsonian

For several years, I have offered guided practice at the Meyer Auditorium at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Asian Art. Now, I offer a general practice a few Tuesdays a month and one art-focused meditation one Friday a month, usually the last Friday.
